Elegant Wood and Paint | Matthews Kitchen Remodel
2023 Chrysalis Award-Winning Project
This 2002-built home is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood on the outskirts of Charlotte. The kitchen was oddly-shaped and outdated and no longer functional for the homeowners. They desired a large, bright, practical, and beautiful kitchen. We tackled this project by removing walls and moving the location of the laundry room upstairs. One design element to notice is the 8-foot wide custom-built hood with built-in niches. It creates both a decorative and practical aspect of this lovely and spacious kitchen, which blends classic and modern elements to bring the client’s vision to life.
The meticulous remodel completely transformed the dark and dysfunctional space into a stunning and functional kitchen that seamlessly connects with the living room, creating a better flow throughout the first floor. The homeowners now thoroughly enjoy entertaining in their newly renovated space. Curious about the Chrysalis Awards? We’ve got more details on our blog.
