From the moment you share your vision, we collaborate closely to create a detailed plan, handle permits and selections, and manage the project timeline efficiently. Step 1: Consultation

Your journey to a remodeled home begins with a simple call or online inquiry. We'll schedule a convenient time to chat about your project vision and answer any initial questions. Following our discussion, we'll arrange an in-home consultation to assess your space and provide expert guidance. This complimentary visit allows us to visualize your dream and discuss potential solutions.

After reviewing your contact form, a member of our team will reach out to discuss your project in more detail. We’ll explore your vision, answer any questions, and determine if GJK Remodeling is the right fit for your needs. If we mutually agree to move forward, we’ll schedule an in-home consultation with Gary to assess your space and provide expert guidance. This complimentary visit allows us to gain a deeper understanding of your project and offer tailored solutions.

During Gary’s in-home consultation, he will carefully assess your space, discuss your goals, and delve into your design preferences. Expect thoughtful questions about your lifestyle, desired outcomes, and preferred style elements. This valuable information will inform the development of a comprehensive proposal tailored to your specific needs and vision. Gary’s expertise and attention to detail ensure that your project aligns perfectly with your dream home.

Following your decision to proceed with GJK Remodeling, we’ll schedule a return visit to meticulously measure your space and capture detailed photos. To streamline the process, we’ll provide a brief questionnaire to gather essential information. Upon completion, we’ll arrange for payment to commence the creation of a comprehensive proposal. This detailed outline will include specific allowances for key project elements like countertops, plumbing fixtures, and lighting, providing you with a transparent and accurate project cost.

Once we have outlined the project scope with you (in the proposal), it will be time for you to sign the contract. During that time, we will collect a deposit on your project to order materials and get started.

Step 2: Design

Our design process takes shape with a second in-home visit, where our expert team collaborates with you to finalize your vision. During this meeting, we'll delve into cabinetry options, fine-tune design details, and create a space that perfectly reflects your style. Once the design is complete, we'll work together to finalize the project timeline and get your project under construction.
If your home remodeling project includes cabinetry, you’ll visit our showroom to select those with your designer. We want to be sure to place this order early in the process so your cabinets are here when we are ready to install.

Design and selections go hand in hand. You will visit our showroom and work with the designer to fine-tune the design and make selections along the way.

  • Don’t know what style or color of kitchen cabinets you want?
  • Want to see one wall of your bathroom with wallpaper?
  • Trying to decide between oil-rubbed bronze or brushed brass for the knobs and pulls on your deep blue cabinets?

No problem! The designer can show you in a 3-D rendering on our large HDTV what each option looks like so you can make your selections with confidence. Our showroom also allows you to view and touch multiple cabinet colors and door styles, cabinet accessory features, countertops, door hardware, faucets, tiles, and more!

Time to get on the schedule! After the details of your project have been finalized, we’ll schedule your project start date. We will provide you with enough time to pack away all the items that you currently have in the space to be stored while we complete the work on your project.

Step 3: Build

Your home transformation journey begins with a comprehensive approach. From the initial pre-job walkthrough assessing your space to the final reveal, we're committed to open communication and project transparency. Expect regular updates throughout the construction phase, ensuring you're always in the loop. As your project nears completion, we'll schedule a final walkthrough to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Approximately two weeks before your project commences, we’ll schedule a pre-construction walkthrough. This meeting is an opportunity to review project details, address any final questions, and ensure everyone is aligned for a seamless start to the remodeling process.

The transformation begins! As construction unfolds, you’ll start to see your dream space take shape. We understand that remodeling can be exciting yet overwhelming. To keep you informed every step of the way, we’ll provide a weekly project update, including the previous week’s accomplishments and the upcoming schedule. You’ll also receive your weekly invoice for transparency and convenience.

The grand reveal! Once construction is finished, we’ll conduct a comprehensive walkthrough to showcase your newly transformed space. We’ll take this opportunity to familiarize you with any new features or technologies, providing guidance on their proper use and maintenance.

Step 4: Manage

We take pride in showcasing the transformative power of our design-build projects. To inspire future clients, we may request the opportunity to photograph your newly remodeled space. We'll coordinate a convenient time with you to capture the beauty of your home. Your permission to share these images is greatly appreciated.
Approximately two weeks before your project commences, we’ll schedule a pre-construction walkthrough. This meeting is an opportunity to review project details, address any final questions, and ensure everyone is aligned for a seamless start to the remodeling process.
Following the completion of your project, we’ll conduct a final walkthrough to ensure your satisfaction. To provide added peace of mind, we offer a comprehensive one-year warranty covering all aspects of the project. While we strive for perfection, we understand that unexpected issues may arise.
